How it all Started…

Our beloved Lana the frenchie was playing in our yard with her ball nothing out of the ordinary. She started acting extremely different then her usual sassy self, we rushed her to the emergency and got some unfortunate news that she herniated her discs on her lower spine and had ivdd disease, a condition where the cushioning discs between the vertebrae burst into the spinal cord space.

After a full year of recovery from her surgery she has little mobility on her back legs, however with acupuncture and water therapy it has helped her gain back some mobility and back to doing her simple love of walking, playing and being a great therapy dog.

Inspired by her strength and a family trip we took to Mexico in 2017, nice beast was founded. In 2019 we fostered Betty White, who is also an IVDD survivor. Fast forward - Foster Fail ….We have now adopted her officially and she is part of our nice beast family.
